Born from the imagination and memories of Francesco Locane, journalist and cultural curator, “Rifilastrocche in cielo e in terra” is a new album featuring bands and solo artists from the contemporary Italian music scene, including Dente, Alessandro Grazian, I Camillas, Colombre & Maria Antonietta, Cristallo, Francesca Bono, Fabio Cinti, and many others. The album is a reinterpretation of the 1972 original “Filastrocche in cielo e in terra”, created by A. Virgilio Savona and Lucia Mannucci of Quartetto Cetra — a collection of musical adaptations of Gianni Rodari’s nursery rhymes.
For this project, I collaborated with Housatonic Studio on the production of the music video for “Filastrocca impertinente”, newly set to music by Dente, aiming to visually represent the richness and variety of characters and situations.
