AISM – Sono molto altro
Making Multiple Sclerosis visible and understandable
I worked with Housatonic Studio and AISM (the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society) to design the first-ever cartoon aimed at children aged 6–12, with the goal of raising awareness about multiple sclerosis and its impact on daily life. During the script development, we interviewed young people with MS and their parents, learning about their experiences, interests and challenges. Based on these conversations, we created this animated short centered on Sara, a girl around 12 years old with MS. Her illness is represented as an invisible shadow that changes shape and behavior from day to day, reflecting the unpredictable nature of the condition.
