Ciao!
My name is Marco Marzoli. I am an Italian multifaceted motion specialist.

Currently I live in Billund — Denmark, where I really value a healthy work-life balance.
When I’m not at my desk you’ll find me at Legoland, riding roller coasters or building LEGO race cars with my son and arguing over whose is better.
If you have an idea in mind or just want to say hi, feel free to swing by for a slice of my homemade pizza — probably the best you’ll find around here — and a proper espresso.

Otherwise, just drop me a line!

I grew up surrounded by the gentle hills of Tuscany, where I spent my childhood playing football and video games. Called out as too rational by my elementary school teacher, I definitely proved her wrong by graduating in Communications from the University of Siena.
After collecting a string of rather silly jobs, I went from tourist animation to After Effects animation.
I ended up moving to Milan, where I dived into data visualization for finance for a couple of years (doesn’t sound thrilling but I actually learned surprisingly valuable lessons about video automation and generative systems — all before AI showed up).

In 2018 I got bored of staring at the same desk every day, so I started travelling the world with my wife. I worked remotely the whole time, never missing a deadline no matter the time zone – even if it sometimes meant working past midnight in a coworking space in the Vietnamese rice fields, surrounded by suspiciously large insects.

I’ve been freelancing since 2013, working direct-to-client, as well as teaming up with brilliant studios and creatives. I now rely on a network of trusted professionals I can quickly summon into a team perfectly tailored to your project — covering everything from concept development and character design to storyboarding and sound design.

Over the last 10 years, I was part of Housatonic Design Network in Bologna, developing solid expertise in motion branding, graphic facilitation, video scribing and… making it easy!
This journey led me to collaborate with international NGOs and humanitarian agencies – including ActionAid, Sea-Watch, Save the Children and UNESCO – where I helped to make complex content accessible to a global audience through purposeful animation.
